How much actual money will you save by donating your car?

It depends what the car is worth and who are donating it to. You would save on fuel, tax and insurance but you would then have use another means of transport. That could add up to a great deal of money over a period of time.

There is also the inconvenience involved, your time has to be worth something too.

Taking all these factors into consideration it is doubtful you would save any money in the long run.
