Where was Eros last located?

Eros, an asteroid in the asteroid belt, was last closely observed during its approach to Earth in January 2020. At that time, it was approximately 16 million miles away from our planet. Eros is notable for being one of the largest near-Earth asteroids and has been studied extensively by various space missions, including NASA's NEAR Shoemaker, which orbited and landed on it in 2001.
