Does the stylus mark the paper by impulse on ekg?

The basic components of an electrocardiograph are : Electrodes, Leads, the galvanometer, the amplifier and the stylus. The heated stylus records the motion on graph paper located in the machine by burning the impression on the heat-sensitive paper.
