Major League Baseball teams are located in two countries. The United States, and Canada. Major League teams are represented by the best ballplayers in the world. Players from many countries participate in the World Series such as Hideki Matsui from Japan, Bobby Abreu from Venezuela, Fernando Valenzuela from Mexico, David Ortiz from Dominican Republic (now a US citizen), Orlando Hernandez from Cuba, Chien-Ming Wang from Taiwan, Mariano Rivera from Panama, Bert Blyleven from Netherlands, and Bobby Thomson (Shot heard around the world) was heard in Scotland.
