What is the best way to set the thermostats for each of 2 furnaces for a 2 story home. I have a furnace and air conditioning system for the upstairs and a second system for the downstairs?

There is no hard and fast rule for this since all houses, systems, thermostat locations and comfort levels are different. Experiment and go with what makes everybody happy most of the time.
