Do people die from texting while driving more then they die from just car accidents?

yes according to the law texting and driving is actually MORE dangerous than drinking an driving, because when your texting your mind not only wanders but you have to take your eyes off the road to look at it, and its even illegal in some states now.

Yes. a few weeks ago my mother took me to a CHP course. They played a video of a car accident, one person was texting and the other wasn't. Everybody involved died.
