Why did the Chinese stop their trade voyages?

The Chinese stopped their trade voyages in the early 15th century primarily under the Ming Dynasty, influenced by political and economic factors. After the death of the admiral Zheng He, who led the famous voyages, the Ming court shifted focus towards internal stability and defense against northern threats, viewing the expeditions as costly and less beneficial.
