What the triangle in voodoo mean?

I am not familiar with how this geometric figure is used in Voodoo but will hazard a guess. The triangle very often- usually up-pointed- apex at the top- and I am speaking of the traditional Isoceles Triangle with two equal sides and flat at the bottom- symbolizes FIRE. there is the fire-triangle in fire prevention- the three components are combustibles(fuel) oxygen or air, and heat- isolate any element and in theory the fire is contained. it is only logical triangular devices figure in fire-control badges to some degree. On the other hand an inverted triangle may have beyond the grave aspects-it is a ground symbol in electronics- to ground side- and forms the basis of the evasive and weird (Ojo de DiOS) or Eye of God a strange insignia common in pre-Columbian Latin America, there are different types. Either Fire, or maybe spiritual transition-death or Zombi status?
