How many islands make up the state of Bahrain?

Bahrain, Middle East.

Bahrain from 1999 - 2007 had 20 islands and 5 of them were 1 of the famous islands in the world.

Specially durrat al Bahrain and amwaj island.

But after these 2 islands were full of construction the government thought to make 15-20 more islands.

Between 2007-2008 they made 7 more islands.

So now Bahrain has 37 islands present.
