What does a kualas eat?

Koalas primarily eat eucalyptus leaves, which make up the majority of their diet. They are highly selective feeders, choosing specific eucalyptus species that provide the necessary nutrients and are low in toxic compounds. Due to the low nutritional value of eucalyptus, koalas consume large quantities of leaves and have a slow metabolism to conserve energy.
