Can you get a parasite or bacteria from smoking marijuana?

Unless you eat some expired food while high, then no. Cannabis does have its own share of chemicals, but it doesn't carry any parasites. It's similar to a cigarette, only it doesn't kill you. It just makes you feel really good.

I just read something that says otherwise and am looking for a more solid answer myself!
