Who did Theodore Roosevelt love?

Roosevelt deeply loved his family. His father, Theodore Sr., Roosevelt called the best man he ever knew. He was devastated when his first wife Alice and his mother died on the same day, and equally devastated when his son Quentin died in WWI. He loved his second wife Edith deeply; she was purportedly the only person who could control TR to any extent.
