Where do you put the address on a package?

For parcels, as for large envelopes, the address goes in the middle of the front of the widest side (more toward the right in Western mail). It should not be too high, where cancellations are placed, or too low, where labels or barcodes are placed. In the US, the zip code can be on the last line or on a separate line.

The return address goes on the top left side (or on the back of the envelope) and the stamps or postage goes on the top right.
