To remove the rear speakers in a 2003 Alero, first, take off the rear speaker grilles by gently prying them up with a flathead screwdriver or a trim removal tool. Once the grilles are off, unscrew the speakers from their mounting locations. Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the speakers, and then you can pull the speakers out.
