from 1,805 hp. to 2800 depending on Version. The F4U-1D had 2400 hp, and the highest powered had 2800 hp, hence the engine name Pratt & Whitney R-2800 which is a double row 18-cylinder radial. PCH answer is 2000. I don't know how they came to that conclusion given the above true facts.
