Was George rogers clark a drunk?

i believe that clark might have had a drinking problem but i doubt it if he was so drunk all the time. logically your brain dies the more u abuse it. ssoo i believe that he wasn't a drunkard. i mean come on how'd he out smart them if he was drunk lol.
