When is time out nessacary for young children?

when they misbevhave, make a certain area that is the naughty corner and give them a time out, 5 minutes would be a good time, and ask them to apolisge for what they did, if they dont apoligse then leave them there for another 5 minutes, if they move away from the naughty corner, then firmli but fairly put them back there and tell them you want them to stay there. hope this helps :)X
