Who was on the first first Pittsburgh Pirates team?

The first Pittsburgh Pirates team was established in 1881, originally known as the Pittsburgh Alleghenys. Key players included infielder John Montgomery Ward, who was also the team's manager, and outfielder John C. "Jack" Glasscock. The team played its first season in the National League in 1887. The Pirates adopted their current name in 1891.
