If a boy asks you if you talk about him with your friends does that mean that he wants to know if you like him?

It sounds as though that he may be wondering if you like him. well this hasen't happened to me but the guy i like used to be my friend but once we started going to diff. schools we stopped hanging out. and i always had a thing for him but now i just don't know. what should i do???? :(
