You have something like an up turned egg cup hanging from the inside roof of your shed cream in colour with a bee on it would this be a honeycombe?

Possibly, if it is made of wax, but rather unlikely as bees prefer to be in an enclosed space.

If it is papery then it is more likely to be the start of a wasp nest.
