Green - the color worn during Ordinary Time (outside of a Church season)

White - worn on major solemnities such as Christmas, Easter, All Saints and feasts of the Blessed Virgin. Also now worn at funeral Masses.

Violet - used during times of anticipation or penance - Lent and Advent

Red - Worn on feast days of martyrs and on feasts of the Holy Spirit, Palm Sunday and Good Friday.

Rose - only worn on Laudate Sunday and Gaudate Sunday.

Black - rarely used today except in some Catholic Parishes that practice the Tridentine Mass. Used at funeral Masses or requiem memorial Masses.
