Is the sun a giant star in our solar system?

Well, the sun is actually a star, and it's the only star in our solar system. It's called a medium-sized star but looks super huge to us because it's much closer than the other stars. Just like each of us is special in our own way, the sun shines brightly and warms all the planets in our solar system.
