What is an easy way to kill fire ants in fallout 3?

i think it would be to put down bottlecap mines and move back to let them do all the work

--Actually, if you want to be cheap, i find the easiest way to kill them is to stand on something high up that u need to jump to get to, so u cant be reached by the deathclaws. then just take crack shot at em.
