Did rome ever live in peace?

This era, initiated by Emperor Augustus, was marked by stability, economic prosperity, and minimal military conflict within the empire's borders. However, Rome was often engaged in wars of expansion, faced external threats, and dealt with internal strife, such as civil wars and political instability, making true and lasting peace elusive throughout much of its history.
