In a revolution, one group revolts against another.

ANSWER:

A revolution is when there's disagreement between two sides, and must fight to be the one who wins, and who's considered right, after the war with each other.

An example would be the American Revolutionary War. Americans worked for many years with hard work, sweat, and tears to make the New World a special place for all who lived in the colonies.

After being taxed to death; having no rights when it came to a fair and speedy trial; not being allowed the right of freedom of speech; having the government interfere with their churches and rights to worship freely (just to name a few reasons), the colonists had gotten to the point to where they had enough.

So, America wanted her independence from King George III. But, the king disagreed and informed the colonists that if they wanted to be free they'd have to fight for it. America fought Great Britain, won, and is an example of what happens in a revolution.
