Which comes first at a baby shower food games gifts cake?

Well, think of it this way, when you go to a baby shower, the first thing you wanna do is get rid of the gift, in other Words, when you get to the place you meet the host and as you greet you present your gift, then everybody wanna have fun with some games, after those games you get hungry and well, the food part comes up, the last thing is the cake, is like the last sweet thing you have after your meal, but of course, is doesn't have to be right after the meal, can wait a little..
