Can you watch movies on Playstation 1?

All you have to do is put the DVD in the area you place your ps2 games, and then the movie will start to play. Once you reach the main menu, you then press the X button on your ps2 controller while over the "play movie" feature. You can also purchase a separate remote to play movies.
