Who marks goal defence?

In Netball, the goal defense (GD) is responsible for marking the attacking player in the shooting circle, typically the goal shooter (GS) and sometimes the goal attack (GA). The GD's primary role is to prevent these players from receiving the ball and scoring, using defensive tactics such as intercepting passes and applying pressure. They must be agile and strategic, balancing the need to defend while also supporting the transition of play.
