What is difference between religion and spirituality?

The difference between religion and spirituality is: "This is what you tell me to believe," and "This what I believe." Religion is the standard written doctrine of a group. Spirituality is the personal belief of the individual. In general it is based on traditions and lifestyle, but personal perspective colors all aspects of the traditions giving particular relevance to one individual, but not to another.
