Can you take liquids in your suitcase?

If you want to bring them into the cabin, they cannot be more than 3.4 oz (100ml). They also have to be secure in a ziplock baggy and displayed at the security check.

If you want to leave them in your checked-in luggage, pretty much anything goes, as long as it's not toxic, explosive or (highly) flammable or otherwise restricted.
