google it, call it yourself, Anywho, 411, the whitepages, or reverse phone number lookup services.

I have encountered the same problem and from my experience, there is not much you can do. One option is to call information (411) and ask the operator for the address for the phone number. If the number is listed, the operator will release the information. A second option is to check out websites that will provide an address for a fee.

Impossible I thinkI've been getting prank calls from this one landline number, and it's starting to get on my nerves. I decided not to tell my service provider, because they won't tell me the number, they'll just deal with it internally.

So I've been trying to work out a way to find this person. As far as I can tell it's impossible. The only people with that kind of knowledge is the whitepages, and they don't have an option on their site to search by phone number.

The only other option is to work your way through the local white pages systematically crossing out all the wrong numbers. But doing that would make you an idiot, not to mention slightly obsessive. And even if you did do this, there is always the chance they don't live locally, or maybe they're not listed. Like I said, it seems impossible.

The only way you can lookup cellular numbers is by using a reverse phone lookup service. Cell phone are considered to be private data, and has to be collected by third-party websites.
