What type of damage can a tornado create?

Damage varies depending on how strong the tornado is. Weak tornadoes (EF0 and EF1) remove surface material from roofs, break Windows, strip away siding and topple some weaker trees.

Strong tornadoes (EF2 and EF3) remove roofs from many buildings or collapse walls, obliterate trailers, toss cars, and uproot many trees.

Violent tornadoes (EF4 and EF5) level or blow away well built houses, strip the bark from trees, carry away large objects, and can even tear asphalt from roads.
