Im no attorney, but to the best I recall if you have a contract for deed with the lender whom is going on medicaid, then at worst case you might have to pay the continued payments to medicaid itself, they can not put a lien on the property until the person in the care of medicaid away, so if the deed still has line against it recorded in court by the attorney who gave you a contract for deed then your pretty safe, also you they might be able to makee a quick clim deed adding you to the deed , plus leave the lien in affect, or you may put a lien against the home for the amount of money you have invested form day one, it is basically like a mechanics lien and the first lien superceeds all others in nearly alli can remebr form my very few law classes. You can look up the number for free legal aid , in your county and they will help you.
