How did Fort Hall get its name?

Fort Hall was named after Nathaniel Wyeth, who established the fort in 1834 as a trading post for fur trapping and trade. The fort was named in honor of his friend and fellow fur trader, William Hall. It served as a crucial supply point for emigrants traveling west along the Oregon Trail.
