What is the difference between sewing tools and sewing equipment?

"Tools would be referring to smaller objects you work with using you hands ex: seam ripper, measuring tape, shears, exc. "Equipment" would be the heavy duty items such as the sewing machine it self, an iron, serger, steamer.
