Why do scientist all over the world use classification and why is it important?

it is important for scientists to use classification because if we didn't use it then it would be harder for people who don't know a lot about science to figure out what kind of an animal a snake is (reptile), they use classification to help understand, also so we know if an animal needs to live in water.
