What archetypes are present in the story bluebeard?

Adam and Eve - the notion of curiOSity. its one of the oldest tales of human disobedience and is the archetype for many temptation stories such as His Dark Materials, and Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?

It dates back to patriarchal times, so it's funny to see that dominant male figures in stories haven't been reduces, and are still used as effectively as they always were, even though women and men are considered equal nowadays :)
