Where is the bonnet release catch on a 2010 Freelander 2?

On a 2010 Freelander 2, the bonnet release catch is located inside the vehicle, on the driver's side. It is situated just below the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel, and is typically marked with a bonnet icon. Pulling this catch will release the bonnet latch, allowing you to open the hood.
