Vodka and orange juice the screwdriver where did it get its name?

This story was written by Time Magazine. I give the short version

In 1949 American Engineers working in oil fields in Middle East mixed Orange Juice and vodka together and shared drinks with Turkish and Balkan men at a bar. The drink was referred to as a "Yankee concoction." The story concludes that one American engineer poured the vodka into the can of juice and mixed it with a screwdriver.

And the name was born. Whatever variation you may here it comes down to the fact that the juice and vodka were mixed with a screwdriver.

Anecdotally, Vodka mixed with Prune Juice is called a PILE DRIVER!!
