What do you do if your creative zen x-fi gets wet?

Hopefully it is not soaked. Take the battery out. Open the case if possible. I've had success 'baking' cell phones in low temp oven overnight at 120 degs F. If it got washed with detergent you have to get the residue out. Cleaning with isopropyl alcohol or warm filtered water works well. Don't keep it on if it doesn't work. Warm dry air from hair dryer may work to but if it can't be opened it will take a long time for all water vapor to fully leave. Don't allow temps to get over 140 degs F or simply too hot to touch. It may take a long time, Good luck.
