How to open the hood?

To open the hood of a vehicle, first locate the hood release lever inside the car, usually found on the driver's side near the footwell or under the dashboard. Pull the lever to release the hood latch, which will slightly lift the hood. Next, go to the front of the vehicle, find the secondary latch under the hood, and push it to one side while lifting the hood fully. Finally, secure the hood with the prop rod if necessary.
