1. Dig a hole

2. Cut a piece of the sugarcane and put it in the hole and cover the lower end with earth. (If you didn't know, the sugarcane grows to a length of 10-12 ft. and almost the entire length, leaving the top end and the leaves, can be put into 1 ft. pieces for planting)

3. Water

4. Wait till it grows to a height of 10-12 ft.

5. Cut just above the ground

6. Sell it to sugar mills
