How do you start an informative speech?

This is how read my speech aloud: Once upon a time I was assigned an informative speech. A week before it was due, I heard someone say the Word "YOLO." That means "you only live life once." I was fasinated by this abbreviation, and that caused me to think, what if I were to die soon? It could be possible... so I said screw this essay I'm getting drunk. The End
