Which country consists of over 1000 islands?

The Philippines has a total of 7,107 islands, of which about 4,000 are inhabited. Indonesia is made up of 17,508 islands according to Indonesian government estimates, with about 6,000 of those inhabited. However, according to the Encyclopaedia Britannica, Indonesia has 13,670 islands. Whilst Greece is predominantly a mainland country, it has over 1400 smaller islands dispersed throughout the Aegean and Ionian Seas. 169 of these islands are inhabited.
