Why was Hitler invading countries?

Adolf Hitler went to war with the eastern countries like Russia and Poland for Lebensraum (or living space), he needed the east for room for his 'master' race and resources. He went to war with France for revenge, and due to the alliance systems most countries in Europe were dragged into the war.
