Flag pole sitting is an activity performed in the olden days. People would sit uncomfortably upon flag poles, competing to see who would stay up the longest. tubes were put up on the flagpole so competetors could go to the bathroom. And their food was hauled up in buckets. Luckily, we now have things such as television and sports, and no longer have to watch that madness.
