No. Medical Anthropologists study all practices of medicines and healing. Some Medical Anthropologists focus on western medicine, like Native American, Afro-Caribbean, and South American healing. Others study Modern Medicine, looking into the current structures of medicine and even how medical practitioners construct within themselves their own shared behaviors, idioms and so forth.
