Who are the marvel superheros?

The Avengers are a team of super heroes created by Marvel. The roster of the team varies throughout the issues, but some of the better known characters have been Ant-Man, Wasp, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and the Hulk. They fight together to defeat super villains that probably could not be defeated by one hero alone. They are known for the phrase "Avengers Assemble!".
