What is the fear of crossdressers?

Fear of the unknown. Fear of mental disease: tell someone you are schizophrenic and suddenly you have all the breathing room you want. Our society thinks mental health is catching, a vocally delivered disease. Of course this is wrong but how do you get that across to 400 million people?
