YES NO Older people can bring experience to the mixture, and that can be a valuable tool. They are narrow minded old people tend to have more experience and therefore have an ability to do a better job You can stay alive a long time and still be a terrible leader. They are not open to new methods and ideas and cannot spot trends that may affect the success or failure of taking a certain approach.
